Ban on the marketing of mercury lamps...

Directive 2009/125/EC, revision of Directive 2005/32 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 October 2009, has banned the placing on the market of mercury vapour lamps since 13 April 2015.

This ban applies to both exterior and interior lighting.

Only stocks of lamps already on European soil at the time of the marketing ban may be marketed; but they may not be restocked.

  • ...The perfect time to switch to LED
Technological advances mean that it is now possible (unlike in previous years) to obtain a similar (or even more efficient) light output with LEDs than sodium and mercury bulbs.

Our range of products, using the latest technology, offers you a wide choice combining efficiency, safety, performance and diversity.

Whatever your installation and configuration, you will definitely find the right models for relamping your current lights.
I already have sodium/mercury fixtures : Should I just replace the bulbs or the entire fixtures?
It depends on several factors. First, the model and current power of your fixtures.

If you have sodium lamps that reach 62,000 lumens, you will need to replace the entire fixture.

For lamps with a current luminous output between 10,000 and 36,000 lumens, replacing just the bulbs may suffice.

    - Do you want to keep your current fixtures?
    - Are you looking to modernize your setup?
    - Do you want to increase the luminous output of your installation?
    - Your answers to these questions will also guide your decision on whether to replace just the bulbs or the entire fixtures.

Our specialized team will be happy to guide you to the most suitable, quick, and cost-effective solution in terms of investment and long-term profitability.
